Bible Study Worship
At Cornerstone, we encourage in depth and in context study of God’s Word. Many congregations and denominations have a set rotation of the same scripture that they read over and over again which leaves much of the Bible unread in worship. During our Bible Study Worship series, we use our service time to study a book of the Bible chosen by the congregation. We feel that this is the best way to learn from God’s Word as it allows us to read scripture in the context of the book of the Bible in which it resides rather than taking snippets that happen to fit a chosen topic or narrative for a given week.

Variety in Worship
Cornerstone believes that it’s important to embrace multiple ways of learning. In order to provide variety to our worship, we invite various guest speakers to deliver topical sermons and sermon series throughout the year on a topic of their choice.

Absolutely! You can watch any of our previous Sermon Series on our YouTube channel.

What takes place during Sunday morning worship?
We begin each service at Cornerstone by giving those in attendance a chance to share blessings from God that they have experienced throughout their week as well as share any prayer requests or needs that they may have themselves or see in the community. We then sing a combination of traditional hymns and contemporary worship music to begin worship, followed by the reading which we’ll then study as part of our Bible Study/Sermon. After we complete our study for the week, we wrap up services with prayer, communion, and closing music.
Services range from 60-75 minutes.

What if I’ve never been to church before or I’m unsure of my beliefs?
As stated as a part of our mission, we are committed to helping members of our community and seek to give them the resources they need in order to know God and His love better. We acknowledge that everyone is at a different point in their faith journey and we seek to meet them where they are. We don’t seek to judge you for where you’re at, but rather want to help you on your journey into a life dedicated to the Lord and His teachings! We are all sinners in need of God’s salvation and are all still learning how to better follow the path God has set before us. What better way to do that than in the company of God’s people!

Can I receive communion as a visitor?
Anyone who has received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and is walking in fellowship with God may participate regardless of church affiliation. Communion is served at every worship service.
